Reference company in the implementation of SAP solutions seeks to hire 50 new employees, throughout 2022, for various profiles
With the aim of boosting its growth and reinforcing its strong market position, Abaco Consulting, a national and international reference company in the implementation and maintenance of SAP information systems, announces that this year it intends to increase its team by 50 consultants to respond to the strong growth in these areas.
According to João Moreira, CEO of Abaco, “this year we intend to grow our team, because knowing that the consulting market for business transformation based on SAP is characterized by an extremely high demand, which will increase in the coming years, and in order to meet all the needs of our clients and achieve their own growth ambitions, we must hire as new projects arise, but we want this growth to be done in a sustained manner.”
Abaco currently employs around 150 employees in Portugal, and in 2022, as in all previous years, Abaco will maintain the growing trend of recruitment processes, in order to keep up with growing demand, implement innovative projects and create new products, always keeping up with the main technological trends, one of its strategic priorities.
On the other hand, maintaining the focus on its training areas will also continue to be one of the Consultancy’s objectives for this year, so the Abaco Academy will remain 100% digital and with the objective of attracting and training future employees for Abaco or partner companies, providing them with technical skills in SAP ERP. In recent years, as a result of the situation experienced, the Consultant has switched the entire programme to digital, in which 15 Consultant Career Start Academies were held (with the participation of 181 trainees), and the training offer for individuals was extended, currently having, in addition to the Consultant Career Start, specialisations in the areas of logistics, finance and Human Capital management, with the Academy being considered a reference in the SAP training market.
Having said that, “attracting and retaining talent is a very important issue for us, given the complexity that currently exists in the market and the constant competitiveness that has been installed in organisations in search of the best Talent. On the other hand, it is also increasingly difficult to find specialised talent that meets our requirements and, for this reason, we proactively decided to create the Academy, which allowed Abaco to address the challenges of growth and flexibility of resources, with our primary purpose being to facilitate a career change for our trainees”, says João Moreira, CEO of Abaco.
In 2022, Abaco Consulting plans to continue to invest in its training areas, as well as to increase its teams by more than 50 talents for the different areas of activity, namely: Human Capital Development & Management; Operational Management Controller, Architect & Business Analytics Solution Designer, as well as for the different Consulting areas, with a particular focus on Production and Logistics. These are some of the profiles that the company intends to recruit throughout this year.
