Abaco Consulting wants to hire 40 new talents

With 16 years in the market and with a team of 250 Employees, spread across offices in Portugal – Lisbon, Porto – and three abroad: Brazil, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Abaco Consulting, a Portuguese and international reference company, in the implementation and maintenance of SAP information systems, announces that it intends, this year, to increase its team with the inclusion of 40 Consultants, to respond to the strong growth in these areas.

According to Ângela Santos, Director of Abaco Consulting responsible for Human Capital Development, “this year we intend to increase our team as new projects emerge, so that growth is done in a sustained way”, he continues saying that “although we continue with new projects to emerge it is important that we are very cautious in this year that has just begun. 2021 is about to be a very quiet year, with constant adaptations and, above all, it is essential to be agile ”, she says.

In 2021, as in all previous years, Abaco will maintain the growing trend of recruitment processes, in order to keep up with the growing demand, implement innovative projects and create new products, always following the main technological trends, one of strategic priorities.

On the other hand, keeping the focus on their training areas will also continue to be one of the Consultant’s objectives for this year, so the Abaco Academy will remain 100% digital and with the objective of attracting and training future employees for Abaco or for partner companies, providing them with technical skills in SAP ERP. In the last year, as a result of the situation experienced, the Consultant switched the entire program to digital, in which 15 Consultant Career Start Academies were held (with the participation of 127 trainees), and the training offer for individuals was expanded, counting at this moment, in addition to the Consultant Career Start, with specializations in the areas of logistics, finance and human capital management, the Academy being considered a reference in the SAP training market.

For Ângela Santos, Director of Abaco Consulting responsible for the Development of Human Capital, “the attraction and retention of talents is a very important theme for us, given the complexity that currently exists in the market and the constant competitiveness that has been installed in organizations in search of the best talent. On the other hand, it is also increasingly difficult to find specialized talents that meet our requirements and, for this reason, we have proactively decided to create the Academy, which has enabled Abaco to address the challenges of growth and resource flexibility, our primary purpose is to facilitate a change of career for our trainees”, he says.

“In this way, we believe that the best way to be able to retain our talents is to make them feel at home, that is, to integrate them into our organization and demonstrate that they are a fundamental part for us. It is essential that the employee reviews himself in the organizational culture of the company ”, says Ângela Santos.

In 2021, Abaco Consulting plans to continue investing in its training areas, as well as increasing its teams in more than 40 talents for the different areas of activity, namely: Operational Management Controller, Architect & Business Analytics Solution Designer, as well as the reinforcement of all the different areas of SAP consultancy. These are some of the profiles that the company intends to recruit throughout this year.
