Ábaco Consultores reinforces its strategy with a new business line: EDGE
Ábaco Consultores has reinforced its strategy with the launch of its own business line: EDGE. This new business line appears to complement the company’s current offer and includes the creation of a separate and independent team, dedicated exclusively to develop EDGE’s new range of products.
Initially, EDGE will release its mobility solutions suites – “inMotion”, Cloud solutions (SaaS) called “incloud” and shopfloor solutions – “inFactory”. This business line, and the solutions that are incorporated in this new strategy, will be gradually implemented between March and April. In this first month it is expected to launch “inMotion for Sales”, a sales force solution with integration into companies ERP’s. In April, the solution “inCloud for SafeMed” will be released for the Health and Safety at Work sector.
In parallel, it will be through EDGE that Ábaco will now provide the various solutions and products that the company already own in the business lines of SAP Business One – SAP solution for small and medium enterprises; and QlikView – Business Intelligence solution.
“We pretend to place ourselves not only as an implementer of solutions, but also as a company that develops its own in-house solutions. With this new business line we will strengthen Ábaco’s strategic and differentiated market position, first in Portugal and Brazil, but later also in new markets”, says Fernando Lopes, Ábaco’s CEO.
With this new market position, Ábaco becomes, in addition to a leader implementing SAP ERP Projects, a developer of its own products and solutions, maintaining the same values: rigor, professionalism and continuous innovation. “The launch of EDGE was one of the goals already set by the company last year. With this new business line we intend to complement Ábaco’s offer and, thereby, increase value for all of our current and potential customers.” he concludes.
Thanks to the vast experience, collected over the last 11 years, both in business processes and in SAP technologies, Android, Windows Phone, iOS, HTML5, Fiori and Personas, the company wants now to occupy a new sector in the markets where it operates.
