Ábaco took part in Aicep’s first “Roadshow 2015”

On the 20th of January Aicep hold its first “Roadshow 2015”, part of a series of seminars aiming to help the Portuguese companies with their internationalization strategies. This time around the event had – among others – the presence of the Portuguese vice prime minister, Paulo Portas.

Ábaco was, once again, part of Aicep’s “Portugal Global Roadshow”, which in this first seminar of the year discussed opportunities for business development in two different international markets: UK and Senegal. During the event, Francisco Baptista, Aicep’s Director of incentives to SMEs, did a clarification session on “Instruments to support internationalization – Portugal 2020”, and Paulo Portas, national vice prime minister, talked about the importance of some Portuguese companies for the exports sector.

Because most of the Senegalese opportunities are in sectors such as construction and public works, in which Ábaco has developed an excellent know-how throughout the years, and since we already have some projects going on in the UK at the moment, it was a very productive day for us.

Aicep Portugal Global – Trade & Investment Agency is a government business entity, created in 2007, focused in encouraging the best foreign companies to invest in Portugal and contribute to the success of Portuguese companies abroad in their internationalization processes or export activities.
